Description |
Join us for a class in Balsam Lake, WI to learn more about topics in your woodland. Learn About Your Land is a UW-Madison Extension Forestry program intended for Wisconsin woodland owners. The series of classes introduces landowners to forestry topics and local DNR foresters. These classes will be held in person in Balsam Lake, WI. All classes will run 1.5 hours with the last 30 minutes reserved for YOUR QUESTIONS. Registration is $30 per person for all four sessions. |

Description |
Many family forest owners envision their land remaining in the family for generations. But does your family share your dreams for the future of your land? Do you have a plan in place to keep the land intact? Passing property from one generation to the next is legally and emotionally challenging. This program is designed to give landowners and families the tools to make the transition a successful one. We encourage attendees to include family members and to begin the planning process together. This course is a self-paced online course with live Zoom sessions held 4 times throughout the course. Registration is $75 per family (any/all family members may participate under one registration). |
