Organizations thrive, or fail to thrive, based on how well the teams within those organizations work. What does it take to create a high-performing team? High performance arises when teams are encouraged to take risks, fail, and learn from those small failures, a process some call "teaming." Learn how to cultivate an exciting, collaborative environment that is built upon mutual trust, respect, and engagement, and create the right environment for individual team members to speak up, collaborate, experiment, and reflect.
CPM Competency: 3.12 Describe the characteristics of a team and construct and support an effective team.
Desired Learning Outcomes:

5. Describe strategies for assessing team strengths and weaknesses.
6. Use tools for assessing team functioning over time.
