Examine communication processes to improve creativity, identify roles for groups and teams in problem-solving, and discover how to define problems in new ways.
CPM Competencies: 2.3 Employ effective and creative problem-solving approaches and productivity tools. AND 3.7 Apply a decision making model in order to make well-informed decisions in a timely and responsive manner.
Desired Learning Outcomes:
1. Describe several alternative approaches for understanding and solving problems and the situations which best lend themselves to each approach.
