Theme: Engineering Healthcare Systems for Vulnerable Populations

Join us! After two successful conferences, our 3rd WIHSE conference will focus on how engineering in collaboration with health sciences and industry can make a difference for vulnerable populations; particularly older adults, children, patients with multiple chronic conditions, and those in understudied and rural populations.

Dear Conference Audience,

In order to ensure the safety and wellbeing of everyone involved, the conference co-conveners have decided to cancel the 2020 WIHSE Conference Engineering Healthcare Systems for Vulnerable Populations, scheduled May 11, 2020. This decision comes with careful consideration for and compliance with the recently announced UW-Madison https://covid19.wisc.edu/campus-wide notice to avoid large group events. We truly appreciate all of the contributions, planning, and effort our larger community has contributed this event, and we look forward to reconvening sometime in the fall or spring 2020-2021 to revisit the themes originally planned for this May. We are committed to uplifting your work in the future and continuing the wonderful conversations that have already begun around this year’s event.

Cancellation/Refund Policy: If you are unable to attend the conference, we will refund your purchase price minus a 5% transaction fee through April 27, 2020. After that date we will be unable to issue refunds. We would be happy to make a substitution for you prior to the date of the conference.
