 Your credit card statement will show the Doing Business as name as UW SCHOOL FOR WORKERS.

Cancellation/Refund Policy:

  • On-demand institute registrations are non-refundable.
  • Online institutes are refunded in full when the School for Workers is notified 48-hours in advance or more before the institute start date. If the cancellation notification is received less than 48-hours before the class start date, the cancellation fee will be, at a minimum, one-third of the original registration fee. Cancellation notification can be done by emailing schoolforworkers@dcs.wisc.edu or by calling 608-262-2112. When enrollment criterion is not met, or conditions beyond our control intervene, School for Workers reserves the right to cancel the course. If the school cancels a class, tuition is refunded in full.
  • Residential institutes are refunded in full when the School for Workers is notified 14 days in advance or more before the institute start date. If the cancellation notification is received less than 14 days before the class start date, the cancellation fee will be at a minimum $200. Cancellation notification can be done by emailing schoolforworkers@dcs.wisc.edu or by calling 608-262-2112. When enrollment criterion is not met or conditions beyond control intervene, School for Workers reserves the right to cancel the institute. If the school cancels an institute, registrants will be notified and tuition is refunded in full; participants will be responsible for all their personal traveling arrangement costs.

 UW–Madison does not sell, rent, trade or distribute any personally identifiable information obtained from clients to a third party, except in cooperation with government agencies or as required by law. Information collected by UW–Madison is used for the administrative and operational purposes of our services.
