Cancellation/Refund Policy:  Registration fee is non-refundable. No refunds will be issued for participant cancellations or no-shows. If the event is canceled, applicants will be reimbursed for registration fees only. If you have a question about your payment, please contact gmwp@english.wisc.edu or 608-263-3760.

Privacy Statement: The UW–Madison Greater Madison Writing Project does not sell, rent, trade or distribute any personally identifiable information obtained from clients to a third party, except in cooperation with government agencies, or as required by law. Information collected by UW–Madison Greater Madison Writing Project is used for the administrative and operational purposes of our services.

Doing Business As: Your credit card statement will show the Doing Business as UW-GMWP.

Your Privacy Responsiblities and Rights (FERPA): The University of Wisconsin–Madison expects that you will respect the rights of instructors and other students as you participate in the educational process.

Participating in online learning opportunities means that you may have access to personal information and academic work produced by other learners and instructors. These may include class lists, discussion board postings, essays, and other work produced.

Federal law and UW–Madison policy require that you must not reveal any information about fellow learners, course work content, or its authors to anyone outside the course. From time to time UW–Madison Greater Madison Writing Project uses photographs of event participants in our promotional materials. By virtue of your attendance at Greater Madison Writing Project events, we reserve the right to use your likeness in our written publications, videos, and/or website, unless you have specifically denied such permission.

The Greater Madison Writing Project will not sell or otherwise use this material for commercial purposes. Please note that it is your responsibility to avoid being photographed in large group pictures during events. If you do not want us to use your likeness in our promotional materials, please contact Mark Dziedzic at gmwp@english.wisc.edu.
