Description |
In the Local Government Leadership Academy you will focus on four primary skills for being an effective local government leader: relationship-building, communication, decision-making and vision. Each of these four topics is grounded in the idea that we lead in service of the community.
The LGLA is a 9-month program with a blend of online self-paced learning, virtual presentations and in-person workshops. The LGLA prioritizes individuals currently serving in local government roles (appointed, elected, staff, citizen boards, etc) in Wisconsin. If you are not currently in a local government role, please contact Elizabeth McCrank at 715-436-0704 or elizabeth.mccrank@wisc.edu prior to registering.
You have 2 options for payment - either pay in full or in 2 installments. If you are paying in installments, enter the code: LGLA-half in the "Promo Code" box and hit "apply code" before registering.
